LILVA ("we", "us", or "our") operates the LILVA website at lilva.ae and the LILVA mobile application (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
1.1 Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Account information: First name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), and password hash.
- Transaction data: Ticket purchases, marketplace orders, payment confirmations, and refund history.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, and app interaction logs.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and browser type.
- Communications: Support messages, feedback, and correspondence with our team.
1.2 How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and provide access to Platform features.
- To process ticket purchases, marketplace orders, and payments.
- To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, ticket delivery).
- To send service announcements and important updates about the event.
- To improve the Platform, diagnose technical issues, and analyse usage patterns.
- To verify identity and prevent fraud or unauthorised access.
- To comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations in the UAE.
1.3 Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share information with:
- Payment processors: Stripe, TAP Payments, and Paymob process payments on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
- Cloud service providers: Supabase (database), Upstash (caching), and Cloudflare (storage and security).
- Email service: Resend delivers transactional emails.
- Law enforcement: Where required by law, court order, or UAE regulatory authority.
- Exhibiting partners: Limited information (name, email) may be shared with a partner only when you directly interact with or purchase from them via the Platform.
1.4 Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Transaction records are retained for seven (7) years in accordance with UAE commercial law. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at contact@lilva.ae. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days.
1.5 Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed password storage (bcrypt), JWT-based authentication, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
1.6 Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
1.7 International Data Transfers
Your data may be stored and processed in servers located outside the UAE (including the United States and Europe) by our third-party service providers. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer. We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place.
1.8 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

2. Terms & Conditions
By accessing or using the LILVA Platform (website, mobile app, or any associated services), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and make purchases on the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2.2 Account Registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at contact@lilva.ae if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2.3 Tickets
- Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Each ticket contains a unique QR code. Duplication or sharing of QR codes is strictly prohibited.
- Tickets grant admission to the specific event, date, and tier shown on the ticket only.
- LILVA reserves the right to refuse entry if a ticket is suspected to be fraudulent.
- Lost or stolen tickets may not be replaced unless verified through our support team.
2.4 Marketplace & Orders
- The LILVA marketplace connects buyers with verified healthcare exhibitors. LILVA acts as the platform operator, not the seller of record for exhibitor products.
- Product descriptions, pricing, and availability are provided by exhibiting partners. LILVA makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not guarantee it.
- By placing an order, you enter into a contract of sale with the relevant exhibitor, facilitated by LILVA.
- Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise noted. Currency conversion fees may apply.
2.5 Payments
- All payments are processed through certified third-party payment processors (Stripe, TAP Payments, Paymob).
- LILVA does not store your full card details on our servers.
- You authorise LILVA to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method at checkout.
- In cases of payment failure, orders or tickets will not be confirmed until successful payment is received.
2.6 Exhibitor & Partner Accounts
- Partners must provide accurate organisation information and maintain it up to date.
- Partners are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of the products and services they list.
- LILVA reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these Terms or applicable law.
- Partners agree not to list counterfeit, prohibited, or regulated medical products without proper certification.
2.7 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of UAE law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or other accounts.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Platform without written permission.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
- Engage in fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, or abuse of the refund system.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users or LILVA staff.
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliation.
2.8 Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software — is the property of LILVA or its licensors and is protected by UAE and international intellectual property laws. See Section 4 (Copyright Notice) for full details.
2.9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, LILVA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to LILVA in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
2.10 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LILVA, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
2.11 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
2.12 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Event Tickets
- More than 30 days before event: Full refund, minus a 5% processing fee.
- 14–30 days before event: 50% refund.
- Less than 14 days before event: No refund. Tickets may be transferred to another attendee subject to verification.
- Event cancellation by LILVA: Full refund including all processing fees.
- Event postponement by LILVA: Ticket remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, a full refund will be offered within 14 days of the postponement announcement.
3.2 Marketplace Orders
- Order not yet shipped: Full refund upon request.
- Item received damaged or incorrect: Full refund or replacement, to be resolved within 7 business days of your report.
- Change of mind (item received): Returns accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original packaging, and not a consumable or medical device requiring sterility.
- Digital products & services: Non-refundable once delivered or activated.
- Shipping costs for returns are borne by the buyer unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.
3.3 Booth Reservations
- More than 60 days before event: Full refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
- 30–60 days before event: 50% refund.
- Less than 30 days before event: No refund.
3.4 How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund, email contact@lilva.ae with your order or ticket number and reason for the request. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days of approval. Processing times may vary by payment provider.

All content on the LILVA Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software — is the exclusive property of LILVA or its content suppliers and is protected by United Arab Emirates and international copyright laws.
4.1 Permitted Use
You may:
- View, download, and print pages for your personal, non-commercial reference.
- Share links to LILVA content on social media, provided attribution is given and the content is not modified.
4.2 Prohibited Use
You may not, without prior written permission from LILVA:
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any content from the Platform for commercial purposes.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on LILVA content.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notices.
- Use the LILVA name, logo, or branding in any way that implies endorsement or affiliation without written consent.
- Frame or mirror any portion of the Platform on another website or application.
4.3 Trademarks
"LILVA", the LILVA logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of LILVA. Other names, logos, and marks appearing on the Platform are the trademarks of their respective owners. Nothing on the Platform grants any right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of its owner.
4.4 User-Generated Content
By submitting reviews, comments, or other content to the Platform, you grant LILVA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit.
4.5 Copyright Infringement Claims
If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to contact@lilva.ae including: a description of the copyrighted work, the URL where the infringing content appears, your contact information, and a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the standards of behaviour we expect from all users of the LILVA Platform. Violations may result in account suspension, termination, and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
5.1 General Standards
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable UAE laws and regulations.
- Treat all other users, exhibitors, and LILVA staff with respect and courtesy.
- Provide accurate and truthful information at all times.
5.2 Prohibited Activities
- Posting false, misleading, or deceptive product listings or reviews.
- Sending unsolicited commercial communications (spam) to other users.
- Scraping, harvesting, or bulk-extracting user data from the Platform.
- Using the Platform to distribute malware, ransomware, or any harmful software.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
- Conducting denial-of-service attacks or any activity that disrupts Platform availability.
- Listing, advertising, or selling counterfeit, illegal, or unregistered medical products.
- Impersonating another person, company, or organisation.
- Engaging in price manipulation, bid manipulation, or any form of market abuse.
5.3 Medical Products & Healthcare Claims
Exhibitors listing medical devices, equipment, supplements, or services must hold all applicable licences and regulatory approvals required by UAE health authorities (including MOHAP). LILVA reserves the right to remove any listing at any time if it does not comply with applicable healthcare regulations. Users purchasing medical products are responsible for verifying suitability with a qualified healthcare professional.
5.4 Reporting Violations
If you encounter content or behaviour that violates this policy, please report it to contact@lilva.ae. We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
7. Disclaimer
7.1 No Medical Advice
The content available on the LILVA Platform — including product descriptions, exhibitor profiles, and job listings — is provided for informational and commercial purposes only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related decisions.
7.2 Exhibitor Responsibility
LILVA is a platform operator and marketplace facilitator. Product listings, descriptions, images, pricing, and availability are provided by third-party exhibiting partners. LILVA does not endorse, warrant, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, legality, or quality of products listed by exhibitors. Any disputes regarding products should be directed to the relevant exhibitor in the first instance, and to LILVA support if unresolved.
7.3 Platform Availability
LILVA strives to maintain Platform availability at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. We reserve the right to suspend the Platform for maintenance, upgrades, or other operational reasons without notice. LILVA shall not be liable for any losses resulting from Platform downtime or technical disruptions.
7.4 External Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites. LILVA has no control over the content or practices of those websites and accepts no responsibility for them. Linking to a third-party site does not imply endorsement.
7.5 "As Is" Basis
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
